8 Months!

Olivia is now 8 months old, has two bottom teeth, says 3 distinct words (and many indescribable sounds). This is a picture of her on her first slide with mommy at the park- she LOVED IT!!!! (Pic is not the best quality- taken on a picture phone, but didn't want to miss the moment).

She crawls everywhere, stands up to hold on to everything else, and nowhere in the house is safe with her curiosity!!!

6 Months Already!!!

Okay so I am terrible for not putting up pictures sooner, but no one can say I'm not busy, so please forgive me! Our precious little baby girl is already 6 months old! This one with her pouting one in her Orlando Magic jersey was at her first basketball game on Nov 2nd. She was happy the entire game, but when Magic lost you can see from the picture she didn't take it well :o)

At her 6 month visit to the doctor she took her shots very well (Daddy calms her during those terrible shots). Dr said her weight is in the 75-85th percentile and height is 97th%- so we are expecting a call from the WNBA in 18 years or so :o)

Family Cruise!!!!

When Olivia turned 5 months old our entire family (Roth side) went on a 7-day Disney Cruise. What a great time! Here are two of our favorite family shots. Olivia got to visit Castaway Cay (Disney's private island) where me and Kelly (daddy) were married on a pier in the middle of the ocean 4 years ago! She loved the ocean water and enjoyed the cruise immensely (even if she won't remember it :o)

3 months old!

Olivia is a young traveler! I had an 8-day conference in San Francisco, CA that I had to be at, so Olivia & I took the journey with Mita (my mom Angela). Olivia did amazing on all the flights (there were connections each way so we ended up on a total of 4 planes!). While there, we went to the pool at the hotel with her Paka (my dad Tim) and she fell asleep at the conference banquet. She LOVES her bunny robe too!

We are learning her personality now more and more each day (independent for sure :o)

1 Month Old

Our little darling is a month old- we got pictures taken and hope you enjoy! We are getting ready to move Olivia to a new house in 1 month, so she will never know the Celebration condo we have to know & love for 4 years- we are filming it for her so we can show her where she spent her first 2 months of life :o)

2 Weeks Old!

Yes- our precious Olivia is two weeks old as of yesterday! Here are some bigger pics (yes I received lots of feedback on how little the other ones turned out) and I put some posts a little lower down from the surprise baby shower too- ENJOY!

Olivia is doing amazing- at her check-up this week all was perfect- she was a little underweight according to the doctor because they like for them to have fully caught up to their birthweight by Day 8 and we took her on Day 11 and she was still 3 oz. short, but we are feeding her every 2 hours during the day. Instead of seeing him at 2 months, we will do weekly weigh-ins at his office just to make sure she catches up her baby weight.

We have an amazing child (I know, all parents say that)- but she is truly a blessing. She rarely cries and she has slept 7 hours every night since she was 1 week old (and we're at day 15!) We are all sleeping through the night, which I am told is very rare- so we are greatly appreciating it! She gets a great feeding at night and first thing in the morning, so doctor said there is no need to wake her up if she's sleeping straight through. She loves being cradled while we rock her in the glider and makes very funny faces while she's sleeping.

She looks at all of us with such intensity- her eyes are just beautiful! She recognizes Daddy, Mommy & Spencer (sister) already and creates lots of fun the few times she's awake each day.

Meet Olivia Maria Mistelske!

Our beautiful little girl has arrived into the world! She was born 3 days after her due date on April 20th, 2007 at 7:10pm. She was 20 1/2 inches long and weighed 8lbs, 7 oz.

Her full name is Olivia Maria Mistelske (Maria is my mom's middle name)

She has dark hair and big beautiful dark almond shaped eyes. Here are some pictures of her right at birth. She's already 1 week old and changing rapidly, so we're trying to capture her each day.

We truly appreciate the many cards, phone calls, visits & meals that have come our way & can't wait for each of you to meet her in person in the coming months.
